The People Operations Partner will play a crucial role in supporting our People Success Team by supporting the people-related technology systems, helping manage Total Rewards including payroll, benefits and compensation, providing reporting, conducting data analysis, supporting internal communications, and assisting with various People Success initiatives.


When will you work?

  • This position will work a hybrid schedule in our Swedesboro, NJ office.

What you’ll do:

  • Payroll Processing: Support the People Operations Leader with the processing of bi-weekly payroll, as well as with payroll-related reporting, maintenance of accurate payroll data, and ensuring payroll is accurate and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the People Operations Leader with the administration and maintenance of corporate benefits plans along with monitoring company ACA status for compliance.
  • HRIS Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HRIS system, including data entry, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of employee data within the HRIS.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support HR and business decision-making, utilizing data housed within the HRIS.
  • Internal Communications: Maintain the SharePoint-based Intranet and collaborate with the People Success team on providing effective, engaging, and meaningful communication to employees.
  • System Enhancements: Collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements and improvements to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Compliance: Stay informed about relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to all aspects of human resources, including employee laws, EEOC guidelines, and ADA regulations, and collaborate with the People Success team to ensure compliance across the organization, including maintaining the Employee Handbook.
  • Unemployment Claims Management: Management of the unemployment claims process, collaborating with the People Success Leaders to provide data for requests for all states.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on HRIS functionality and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess People Operations processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • People Success Projects: Support People Success initiatives and projects as needed and work collaboratively within the People Success team and across the organization.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of People Operations processes, procedures, and changes.


Who you are:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and confident in learning new technologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.


What you’ve done:

  • 3 years of experience in HR administration, particularly payroll, benefits, reporting, and/or HRIS.
  • Earned a bachelors degree in human resources, finance, information technology or related field.
  • HRIS Software savvy – bonus points if UKG is a system you are familiar with
